Abbaye de Beauport – Brittany

This maritime Abbey was founded by the Prémonté order in 1202 in Paimpol’s cove. Built on high ground, it dominates the landscape, with breathtaking views of the sea and the Isle of Saint Riom! Six centuries of monastic history echo through the building, which later became a private residence. The association ‘Conservatoire du littoral’ acquired the site in 1992 and welcomes the visitors.

  1. I like the perspective, the arches and the contrast between them and the straight lines at the top. The colors in the rocks dotted with specks of green. I love all the greenery, the richness of it.
